1. Spotlight the diversity of your workforce on your social media platform

Are you proud of your diverse team? Do you value your employees and the great work they deliver? Say it loud!

They are the best ambassadors for your company and for the values that move your work.
Start an interview or a video series to spotlight your talent and let your community get to know who are the people working behind the brand they love.
Highlighting your people and the diversity of your team will help other companies, brands and teams to make a similar step and spread some diversity awareness :)

2. Partner Up with local organizations working by marginalized categories’ side

I am sure there are a lot of great organizations in your town that work hard to help the community and to find solutions to societal issues.

The spirit of “giving something back” is extremely valuable. Nowadays, both your employees and your customers expect your brand to be involved in something beyond the business sphere, perhaps the engagement in social/humanitarian causes.

You can partner up with one of these organizations (women groups, LGBQIA+ community, youths and people coming from disadvantaged backgrounds, ecc…) and create a program for mutual contribution: Give an annual donation, support their activity and campaigns, join their mission or organize volunteering days to help out during their event and daily activities.

3. Diversity and Inclusion Meetup at your workplace

Do you want to learn more about how other businesses and experts are tackling Diversity and Inclusion in the workplace? Are you interested to let your workplace become a catalyzer of new ideas and exchanges on the topic?

Organize a local meetup and invite the experts and organizations to your office to discuss ideas, proposals, and current issues related to D&I!
Making space for such events and gatherings will be a great step to help the community to meet and come together for improvements and collective effort around D&I related.
